š¤ AI has NO ROI
Is a big problem I am seeing presented recently in the news.
There are 5 reasons for this:
OR there WILL BE an ROI, but it is kept hidden when leaders arenāt adopting tools like ChatGPT, Copilot.
Hereās why:
1. Employers arenāt recognizing employees who are SUPERUSERS. This causes the top innovators who are not in leadership to keep their success hidden because they fear they will be asked to work 20 more hours weekly.
2. There are policies against AI so employees are using their personal accounts under the radar.
3. Leadership is trying to delegate AI use to their teams when they really need to be leading from the front.
4. There is no specific departmental training and space for hackathons, sharing and best practices.
5. The use cases are limited to writing emails, what Google used to be used for and minor content creation.
Any others that I missed?
Below are a few MINOR wins that one of my clients experienced from a simple AI transformation model that addresses all of the problems above in weeks.

š® You Have 2 Months to Prepare Your Business for AI Agents. Here's Why!

š¤Nvidia just became the worldās largest company amid AI boom
Nvidia has surpassed Apple as the worldās largest company by market value, reaching $3.43 trillion amid a surge in AI demand. This milestone highlights Nvidia's role as a leader in the AI and semiconductor sectors, with its GPUs powering advancements in machine learning and data processing. As companies increasingly rely on AI, Nvidiaās strategic focus on AI technologies cements its position at the forefront of the tech industry.
š®Meta says itās making its Llama models available for US national security applications
To address concerns about its "open" AI models aiding foreign adversaries, Meta has announced that its Llama series of AI models will now be available to U.S. government agencies and contractors involved in national security. Partnering with companies like Oracle, Microsoft, and Lockheed Martin, Meta aims to support defense and intelligence efforts by allowing these agencies to leverage Llama for specific tasks, such as processing maintenance documents and generating computer code. This move marks a shift in Metaās policy, which typically restricts Llama from military applications, underscoring the growing debate on open AI's role in defense.
šAnthropic hikes the price of its Haiku model
Anthropic has introduced its latest AI model, Claude 3.5 Haiku, which surpasses its predecessor in many benchmarks but comes with a higher price tag and lacks image analysis features. Priced at $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens, Claude 3.5 Haiku costs four times more than Claude 3 Haiku. While it can handle longer text and has a more recent knowledge cutoff, the modelās price hike raises questions about Anthropicās pricing strategy. Learn More.
āØGoogle is building smart home controls into Gemini
Google is rolling out a new Google Home extension within its Gemini app, allowing Android users to control their smart homes directly through natural language prompts, like āSet the dining room for a romantic date night.ā Available through Google Homeās Public Preview program, this update lets users manage smart lighting, climate, and more from within Gemini. However, certain devices, like security cameras and locks, still require the Google Home app for control, and routines arenāt supported yet. Read More.
