💲The Most Valuable B2B Sales Skill in 2023: Anticipating AI Trends

1. CHATGPT: YOUR TOP SALESPERSON

Just like ChatGPT became the "Presidents Club" advisor, expect AI tools to be your top-performing sales reps.

There will be Automated Sales People for lower ACV contracts and “Real” Sales People that will have automated agents.

2. PREDICTING YOUR WINNING DEALS

AI won't just predict sales; it'll predict your biggest wins.

Forecasting will be 100% automated with emotional risk indicators.

3. ALL-DAY, EVERY DAY SALES OPS

Remember how I grew a business unit from 0 to $30M in ARR? AI will make this the norm, not the exception.

Sales Ops. will be converted into specialized Code Interpreters with Executive oversight for creativity and quality check points.

4. DATA WITHOUT THE HEADACHE

Dive into analytics without the paralysis. Thanks, AI.

Predictive data will be shared with the team to guide day to course corrections.

5. TRAINING THAT'S ALWAYS ON POINT

Real-time, AI-driven feedback? That's the future of sales training.

This will be based on personality profiles, learning style and job history for every individual.

6. VR PITCHES - THE NEW NORM

Your pitches, but in immersive VR. Sales game-changer.

Think of Ready Player One, but with real life avatars and haptic suits.

7. CRMs THAT ACTUALLY HELP

Automated entries, insightful outputs. Manual? What's that?

Customer data will be triggered only by actions with real-time assessment scores for honesty, interest and intent.

8. SELLING WITH FEELING

AI that senses client emotions and adapts? Now we're talking.

Body temperature, pupil dilation and eye contact focus levels will be tracked for every interaction similar to how keystrokes and website heat maps are utilized today.

9. BUDGET-FRIENDLY MARKETING

Maximum impact, minimal resources. AI makes every penny count.

1 to 1 personalized Micro- Saas products will replace information products and will be available for free.

10. SCALING THE PERSONAL TOUCH

ChatGPT personalizes at scale. Expect more tools to do the same.

Similar to how Meta analyzes 10,000 plus data points (for your Facebook account), data will be tracked at that level for the entire buyer journey.

I've seen B2B sales evolve, and AI's at the forefront. Be part of the revolution.

In a recent study, researchers tasked AI-powered chatbots, specifically a version of ChatGPT 3.5, with developing 70 different software programs. The key findings were:

  • Rapid Software Development: The AI chatbots were able to develop software in under seven minutes, and the average cost for each project was less than $1.

  • AI Bot Abilities: These chatbots were assigned specific roles and demonstrated the ability to communicate, make logical decisions, and troubleshoot bugs during the software development process.

  • Creation of a Hypothetical Company: The researchers created a hypothetical software-development company called ChatDev, following a sequential approach to software development known as the waterfall model. AI bots were assigned roles like CEO, CTO, programmer, and art designer.

  • Collaborative AI Development: The AI bots communicated with each other with minimal human intervention to complete different stages of software development, from design to coding, testing, and documentation.

  • Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness: ChatDev was able to complete software development tasks swiftly and at a very low cost. Approximately 86.66% of the generated software systems worked flawlessly.

  • Limitations: The study acknowledged potential errors and biases in language models as limitations, but the findings suggest potential benefits for junior programmers and engineers.

  • Implications: The research highlights the potential for AI, specifically generative AI like ChatGPT, to automate and streamline software development tasks, potentially benefiting coders and professionals across various industries.

💡 MY TAKE:

While the study shows promise, it's essential to consider the limitations and ethical concerns associated with AI-driven software development, particularly regarding quality, bias, and potential job displacement in the tech industry.

  • Falcon 180B is introduced as the largest openly available language model with 180 billion parameters.

  • It was trained on a massive 3.5 trillion tokens using TII's RefinedWeb dataset, representing a significant achievement in the field of natural language processing.

You can try out the Falcon-180B model, which is a really big language model with 180 billion parts, in a demonstration. You can chat with Falcon-180B-Chat, talk about ideas, or plan your holidays. ⬇️

💡FEEDBACK:

It's important to note that this is an experimental preview, and they plan to make even better versions of Falcon in the future using improved datasets and techniques.

The intended use of this demo is to show how Falcon-180B performs after some fine-tuning on conversations and instructions. However, there are limitations. The model can sometimes provide incorrect information or make up things that aren't true. It might give problematic responses, especially if asked certain questions. Also, the demo has a word limit of about 1,000 words per session.

Rohan Kalahasty, 18, and Sai Mattapalli, 17, high school students, have co-founded Vytal, a startup focused on using eye-tracking technology to identify ocular biomarkers that may indicate Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases.

🦸‍♂️ KEY POINTS:

  • Unlike existing expensive eye-tracking technologies, Vytal utilizes standard laptop or smartphone cameras, making it more accessible and affordable.

  • The founders were inspired by the potential to help the elderly, who are often overlooked in the tech industry's focus on younger users, and the importance of early detection in managing diseases like Alzheimer's.

  • The technology, although in its early stages, has the potential to address the gap in early screening and detection of Alzheimer's and other cognitive disorders.

  • Vytal is not intended to replace doctors but to provide additional data points for medical professionals to consider when assessing brain health.

  • The startup has gained significant interest, with over 1,000 sign-ups for beta testing, and has secured funding rounds totaling $1.2 million, valuing the company at $12.5 million.

  • Kalahasty and Mattapalli prioritize launching quickly over perfecting algorithms, aiming to make a real impact with their technology.
