❇️Google launches production-ready Gemini 2.5 AI models to challenge OpenAI’s enterprise dominance

Google Launches Production-Ready Gemini 2.5 Models for Enterprises

Google has officially moved its Gemini 2.5 Pro and Gemini 2.5 Flash models into general availability, signaling full confidence in their use for mission-critical enterprise tasks. It also introduced Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite, a cost-efficient model designed for high-volume, low-complexity jobs.

With features like million-token context, step-by-step reasoning, and tunable “thinking budgets,” Google is offering enterprises precision, control, and scale—challenging OpenAI with a three-tier model strategy and simplified pricing to suit both premium and budget-conscious use cases.

Major companies like Snap, SmartBear, and Connective Health are already leveraging these models in production, and Google’s enterprise-first approach positions it as a powerful alternative in the AI platform race.

⚡OpenAI open sourced a new Customer Service Agent framework — learn more about its growing enterprise strategy

OpenAI has released a new open-source Customer Service Agent demo to help developers build intelligent, modular, and guardrail-enforced AI agents using the Agents SDK. The demo routes airline-related requests—like bookings, cancellations, and FAQs—between specialized sub-agents, showing how to integrate real-world workflows securely and efficiently.

The system uses Python and Next.js to demonstrate seamless orchestration, guardrails for safety and compliance, and visualized interactions in a chat UI. Released under the permissive MIT License, teams are encouraged to customize the code for commercial or experimental projects.

This release complements OpenAI’s “Practical Guide to Building Agents” and sets the stage for deeper insights at VB Transform 2025, where OpenAI’s Olivier Godement will explore agent architecture in enterprise settings.

💫Search Live: Talk, listen and explore in
real time with AI Mode

Google has rolled out Search Live with voice input for Android and iOS, available in the U.S. for users in the AI Mode Labs experiment. This new feature lets you have natural, back-and-forth voice conversations with Search, receive AI-generated audio answers, and explore helpful links—perfect for multitasking or when you're on the go.

Powered by a custom Gemini model, Search Live works in the background, supports text transcripts, and stores your conversation history. More features like camera-based search interactions are coming soon.
