😮 Gemini CLI: your open-source AI agent

Gemini CLI is a free, open-source AI assistant for your terminal that brings powerful, flexible capabilities directly to your command line. With built-in access to Gemini 2.5 Pro and easy integration into your existing tools, it simplifies everything from coding to content generation — all with generous usage limits for individual developers.

❇️Turn ideas into interactive AI-powered apps

Claude now offers a dedicated artifacts space where users can create, view, and customize interactive AI-powered apps. This new feature enables people to build tools, games, or learning aids without coding and to share them with others. The update also supports embedding AI capabilities directly into the apps, making them more dynamic and adaptable.

⚡Google rolls out new Gemini model that can
run on robots locally

Google DeepMind has introduced Gemini Robotics On-Device, a new model that can control robot movements locally without an internet connection. Building on its earlier cloud-based version, this on-device model lets developers fine-tune behavior with natural language prompts. In demos, robots performed tasks like unzipping bags, folding clothes, and assembling on an industrial belt — all without relying on the cloud.

DeepMind also released a Gemini Robotics SDK that enables teaching robots new tasks using as few as 50–100 demonstrations in a simulated environment.

💫Salesforce launches Agentforce 3 with AI agent observability and MCP support

Salesforce has unveiled major upgrades to its AI agent platform, Agentforce 3, to help enterprises scale their AI-driven digital workers with greater control and security. The new release features a “Command Center” for real-time performance monitoring, native interoperability for easier integration with business tools, and enhanced security with AI models hosted directly within Salesforce.

The company also introduced pre-built industry actions to help businesses deploy AI agents faster. Early adopters like PepsiCo are already leveraging these tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

👏 Midjourney launches its first AI video generation model, V1

Midjourney has released Version 1 of its Video Model — a new “image-to-video” feature that animates still images into short videos. Users can choose between automatic and manual modes, low or high motion settings, and can even animate images uploaded from outside Midjourney.

This early version is part of a broader vision to eventually create real-time, interactive worlds where AI can generate moving scenes on demand. The new feature is web-only at launch, and priced around 8× more than image generation, producing four five-second clips per job.
