❇️Microsoft Build 2025: What to expect, from Azure to Copilot upgrades

Microsoft’s Build developer conference runs May 19–22 and is expected to spotlight major AI integrations—especially deeper Copilot features across Windows and Microsoft 365.

💡 Anticipated reveals include:

  • Copilot upgrades with autonomous PC task capabilities

  • New AI models from Microsoft (MAI) and potential alternatives to OpenAI

  • Possibly Maia 2, the next-gen Azure AI chip

The keynotes will stream for free, and announcements may justify Microsoft’s recent price hikes by showcasing powerful new AI tools.

💫Google’s Gemma AI models surpass 150M downloads

Google’s open AI model family, Gemma, has surpassed 150 million downloads and inspired over 70,000 model variants on Hugging Face since its launch in February 2024. The multimodal models support 100+ languages and are fine-tuned for uses like drug discovery. However, Gemma still lags behind Meta’s Llama, which topped 1.2 billion downloads in April. Both models face criticism for restrictive licensing, raising concerns about commercial use. Know more here.
